Short answer.. there are no adverse effects … WebbYou don't have to nessacary side with anyone, you could ignore them (Until you get to the main quest that involves the council of the two to put the civil aside for a moment, then you can forget it after), or just find a mod that allows you too. I agree, some of my characters are like but let's get along.
